The VectorVision Lear Jet based aerial cinematography system is unlike any system out there. It features a zoom, unlimited roll and faster lenses than its predecessor Astrovision.
VectorVision is a completely self-contained aerial cinematography system which is placed inside the cabin of the Lear 25, but allows the taking lens to be outside the aircraft
Vector Vision is the latest Lear jet camera system for aerial cinematography, as it features a high quality optical relay that has the ability to roll the horizon 360 degrees continuously while zooming from a wide angle view.
The Lear Jets are outfitted and modified to simultaneously shoot Upper Port and Lower Port Vectorvision, the Jet Stills (2-1/4 square still or digital) and P.O.V. Nose Mount Camera.
The system accepts 35mm film, Iwerks, IMAX, Sony HI-DEF or any broadcast quality camera. All can be shot through the Upper, Lower or Nose positions.
An effective aperture of F2.8 in film (no zoom) or F1.4 when shooting in video makes Vectorvision the most advanced camera system for air-to-air cinematography
We are currently offering fixed lease systems based in the Australia and Asia-Pacific regions.
Jet Stills 06

VectorVision
The VectorVision system mounts to the center of the Lear Jet allowing for a full range of cinematography options and creativity.
The Top Port Vectorvision features a focal length of 45mm in Academy, an f stop of 5.9, continuous rotation in Pan and an impressive 70 degree continuous tilt.
The full install of the VectorVision Aerial Cinematography System limit the onboard personnel to three people, the D.P., the Operator, and our certified technician.
Super Nose Mount
