Gyron Fs Stab-C

Gyron FS with Arriflex 435, 25-250mm zoom and 1000' displacement magazine - accepts Panavision, Arriflex , IMAX ( MSM 9802), IWERKS 1570 or any other specialty camera or payload-

The GYRON FS / STAB-C (Gyron Film System / Stabilized Camera) is a unique 5-axis stabilizing camera system which eliminates adverse motion artifacts from pan, tilt and roll. This completely silent system allows an entire range of cameras, from Hi-DEF video to IMAX 15perf/65mm film cameras. It can be used on any type or size of camera crane, camera car, cable support, construction-style telescopic crane, and helicopter work producing stable images throughout a typical 25-500mm (film lens) zoom range*. With advanced notice the system can be upgraded to completely stabilize a 1000mm or greater film lens during aerial or ground work*.

Fully operational in the sitting or hanging mode, the GYRON FS / STAB-C is able to point straight down (please see tilt ranges below), and features adjustable side arms to accommodate many size payloads. The vertical height can shortened for tight shooting or for an extra 15% of Aircraft speed. This system will allow any aircraft to attain 70 knots. If faster airspeeds are required we recommend our SUPER-G which can handle airspeeds up to 120 Knots.

The GYRON FS / STAB-C and all its features are fully controllable via our Advanced Data Link, which can allow the head and control desk to be miles apart. Our Advanced Data Link fully integrates with any microwave, laser, RF, IR, or other communication relay systems on the market.

The utmost in creativity can be attained with the GYRON FS / STAB-C because the roll axis is fully controllable / maneuverable, yet stabilized. It also features Dutch / Tilt compensated steering for operator ease and perfect shots.

This system has proven itself in -30° F weather in the frozen tundra of Northern Canada, as well as in 120° F temperatures in the sand dunes of Namibia. It has been fully drenched with water, frozen with snow and ice, and has operated at multi-G turns of a helicopter. In each of these extreme cases the Gyron FS / Stab-C system has worked perfectly, surpassing expectations every time.

Control Options
