Super-G and The Golden Compass

Earlier this year Nettmann's Super-G Gyrostabilized Aerial Camera System shot the opening credits and other FX laden shots for the movie The Golden Compass, with D.P.Henry Braham. The Super-G paired with Panavision's Genesis digital camera performed flawlessly while flying at 12,500ft above the Eiger and Jungfrau peaks of Switzerland. The Super-G was suspended from the belly of the helicopter, piloted by Fred North, so the camera could fly between the crevices. Nettmann Systems would like to wish New Line Cinema good luck on this opening weekend.
